AI SDR reviews: what users of 11x, Artisan and six other tools report

Updated By the SalesOne research team11 min read

The short answer

AI SDR reviews are mostly positive on G2 and mixed on Trustpilot. As of October 18, 2026, Qualified’s Piper holds 4.9 out of 5 from 1,555 G2 reviews and 11x 4.3 from 38 Trustpilot reviews. Reviewers praise hands-on support and research at scale. Complaints center on contract terms, generic messages, the oversight needed and uneven results.

The AI SDR tools we checked score 4.1 to 4.9 out of 5 on G2 and 3.4 to 4.3 on Trustpilot where they have reviews, as of October 18, 2026. G2 scores come from G2’s AI SDR evaluation and product pages, or for Qualified also the G2 reviews that AWS Marketplace shows (4.9 from 1,562). All are as of October 18, 2026. For every tool that has both, the G2 score is equal to or higher than the Trustpilot score, which may reflect that Trustpilot is open to anyone and tends to draw billing and service complaints. Artisan has two G2 listings: 51 reviews on the AI SDR evaluation page for Ava, used here, and 66 on its g2.com product page (October 18, 2026). Small review counts move easily: a handful of reviews can shift a score with 33 or 38 ratings.

What do AI SDR users praise?

The most praised part of an AI SDR is often a person: the customer success manager who sets it up. On the first page of 11x’s Trustpilot reviews, read October 19, 2026, 5 of 18 four- and five-star reviews name a customer success manager, specialist or rep by role. On Artisan’s first page, 5 five-star reviews credit a named customer success or account manager. G2 gives AiSDR and Qualified a support score of 99.

  • Research and personalization at scale. 11x reviewers on Trustpilot praise prospect finding, company research and personalized email to many people at once.
  • Speed on inbound. An 11x reviewer says after-hours leads are answered in minutes, and G2’s summary for Qualified praises its chat agent and automatic meeting booking.
  • Deliverability. Salesforge’s five-star Trustpilot reviews from 2025 and 2026 single out deliverability and sending controls.
  • Drafts that sound like the sender. Jeeva reviewers on Trustpilot say its drafts sound like them; on its first page, 7 of 15 positive reviews describe its AI suggestions as practical.
  • Fewer tools. One Artisan reviewer dropped other tools and lowered costs by running outbound in one product.
  • Early wins. Some 11x customers report positive replies and meetings in their first weeks.

What do AI SDR users complain about?

Contract and billing terms are the most common complaint, ahead of message quality, results and setup. The table counts the 42 firsthand complaint records we read across 11x, Artisan, Salesforge, Jeeva and Qualified; a review can raise more than one theme.

Do AI SDRs actually work?

AI SDRs work for some teams and fail for others, and the reviews show a consistent pattern: they work when a team puts in setup and oversight, has a large enough market and a clear offer, and they disappoint when bought as a replacement for that work. Five patterns stand out.

1. Oversight is part of the job

Even happy customers describe ongoing work. Six of the firsthand complaints we read are about setup or control, and both of 11x’s setup complaints come from four- and five-star reviews: one says results need prompt-writing skill on the customer’s side. A September 2026 G2 reviewer of Qualified, in an otherwise positive review, wrote: “There is a lot of refinement that goes into onboarding the AI SDR.” G2’s summary of AiSDR’s reviews says the platform needed a lot of oversight, especially early on, and its summary of Regie.ai names a difficult initial setup.

2. Messages can read as generic

Personalization is the feature AI SDRs market hardest, and five of the complaints we read say it fell short. A Salesforge reviewer on Trustpilot in April 2026 put it this way: “The customization of the messages per profile is barely noticeable.” Three 11x reviews call messages spammy, basic or obviously AI-written, and G2’s summary of Regie.ai mentions inaccuracies in how the AI understands target audiences. A message is only as specific as the research behind it.

3. Results vary widely

The same tool can book meetings for one team and none for another. A 2-star 11x review on Trustpilot in March 2026 reports spending about $9,000 and says “we received no meeting requests”; an Artisan reviewer in April 2026 reports a positive response rate of about 0.07%. Other reviewers of the same tools report meetings in the first weeks and reply rates above 1%. Three unhappy reviewers, all from 2024, argue the approach only works with very large prospect lists, and one blames poor targeting. Our guide to why accounts get rejected shows why: most companies that look right on paper have no reason to buy now.

4. Contract terms decide how a bad fit ends

Twelve of the 42 complaints are about contracts and billing, more than any other theme. Reviewers describe a pilot offer that turned into an annual commitment, subscriptions they could not cancel after poor results, and charges after a trial or cancellation. Terms differ by vendor (published as of October 2026): 11x’s Growth plan starts at $3,750 a month billed annually; Artisan’s Intern and Employee plans are billed annually with credits upfront; AiSDR offers pay as you go at $1.50 per person prospected, with quarterly contracts on its Team plans. A short first term limits the cost of finding out the tool does not fit.

5. What works, according to reviewers

The positive reviews share three things: a named person on the vendor side who tunes campaigns, a team member who checks the output, and a use the tool is built for, such as answering inbound website visitors fast. Read that way, the honest answer to whether AI SDRs work is that they do the volume well and need people for judgment. Our explainer on what an AI SDR is covers how they work, and AI SDR vs human SDR compares cost and quality side by side.

What do reviews say about each AI SDR tool?

11x reviews

11x holds 4.3 out of 5 from 38 Trustpilot reviews and 4.4 from 33 on G2. Positive reviews credit named customer success staff, research and personalized email at scale, and fast answers to inbound leads. The 11 firsthand complaints we read cover contracts (3), message quality (3), results (2), setup (2) and targeting (1). G2’s summary adds trouble following up correctly after a prospect replies, no cold-calling tool and occasional sending delays. Per its help center, 11x lets you review every message, require a named approver, or run on autopilot. More options are in our 11x alternatives guide.

Artisan reviews

Artisan’s Ava holds 4.1 out of 5 from 42 Trustpilot reviews and 4.1 from 51 on G2’s AI SDR evaluation page (Artisan’s separate g2.com product page lists 66). Five-star reviews praise named account managers, volume beyond what a person could send and quick setup. The 7 firsthand complaints cover results (2), channels narrower than expected (2), credits that ran out fast (1), a contract that could not be cancelled (1) and burned email domains (1). Its pricing FAQ says Ava is autonomous by default, with approval before sending as an option. See Artisan alternatives.

AiSDR reviews

AiSDR holds 4.6 out of 5 from 101 G2 reviews, with a support score of 99, and had no Trustpilot reviews when we checked. G2’s summary says reviewers like the interface, the quality of leads and a responsive support team, and that they found the platform needed a lot of oversight at first and that building campaigns took longer than expected. We read no individual review pages for AiSDR, so no theme counts are given.

Qualified (Piper) reviews

Piper is an inbound AI SDR: it talks to website visitors and books meetings. Qualified holds 4.9 out of 5 from 1,555 G2 reviews, the highest score and count here, with a support score of 99. Reviewers praise go-live support, the chat agent and automatic meeting booking. The 5 firsthand complaints, from G2 reviews in September and October 2026, are mild: onboarding refinement, guardrails for off-topic visitors, conversation labelling, a live-chat integration and reporting.

Regie.ai reviews

RegieOne holds 4.4 out of 5 from 355 G2 reviews and had no Trustpilot reviews. G2’s summary says reviewers like the interface, fast personalized content and the analytics, and dislike a difficult initial setup, inaccuracies in how the AI reads target audiences, and limits on customization and reporting. No individual review pages were readable, so no theme counts are given.

Salesforge reviews

Salesforge holds 3.4 out of 5 from 32 Trustpilot reviews and 4.6 from 146 on G2. Most of its reviews are about the sending and mailbox products around its Agent Frank AI SDR. Praise centers on deliverability and easy campaign setup. The 13 firsthand complaints cover contracts (3), reliability (3), support (2) and one each on messages, follow-up control, setup, data and a CRM sync. G2’s summary also reports campaigns stopping without notice.

Alta reviews

We could not open a review page for Alta on October 18 or 19, 2026: G2 blocked automated reading and we found no Trustpilot page. We report no rating or themes for it rather than repeat figures we could not check. Ask Alta for references from teams of your size.

Jeeva AI reviews

Jeeva holds 3.8 out of 5 from 94 Trustpilot reviews and 4.6 from 233 on G2. Positive reviews, most posted in February 2026, praise practical AI suggestions and drafts that sound like the sender. The 6 firsthand complaints are almost all about billing: 5 describe unexpected charges, several after cancelling or after a trial, and 1 an unanswered cancellation request. G2’s summary adds unclear credit use and difficulty converting leads.

Seamless.AI sells AI agents as part of its contact-data platform, so its Trustpilot themes are covered in our Seamless.AI alternatives guide.

How do you evaluate an AI SDR before you sign?

  1. Ask who on your team will review messages and tune campaigns, and for how many hours a week. Reviews say the work does not disappear.
  2. Ask whether a person can approve every message, and whether that is the default or a setting.
  3. Read 20 sample messages written for your own accounts before launch, and count how many mention something specific and true about the company.
  4. Get the term, renewal date, notice period and credit rules in writing. Contract terms are the most common complaint.
  5. Check the size of your market. Three reviewers say the volume approach needs very large prospect lists.
  6. Ask for references from customers your size, and see AI SDR pricing for how each vendor bills.

How does SalesOne approach the same problem differently?

SalesOne is built around the two jobs reviewers say an AI SDR cannot do alone: deciding which accounts deserve a message, and judging each message before it goes. S1 deep research agents research each company against your ideal customer profile first. In four production runs in October 2026 they decided on 1,051 companies and kept 249; each of the 802 rejects keeps the rule it failed, and 67.1% had no qualifying dated event in the window.

  • A person approves every message, and every approval is recorded with who gave it. SalesOne has no autopilot.
  • Every buying trigger comes with its source and the date it happened, so a message can say something specific and true.
  • No seats, credits or per-lookup charges; contact details come from 20+ data providers, only for the people your team picks.
  • An exclusion list keeps customers and partners out of outreach.
  • A strategist and an account manager on every engagement, and an optional SalesOne SDR seat for teams that want a person working the accounts.

SalesOne is not a fit if you want fully autonomous sending, inbound chat on your website, high-volume email, a free plan or a published price. It researches US businesses only and prices each plan on a call.

Frequently asked questions

Are AI SDRs worth it?

For some teams. Reviewers who are happy usually have a large market, a clear offer, a vendor contact who tunes campaigns and someone on their own team checking the output. Reviewers who are unhappy often expected meetings without that work, and many were held to an annual term.

What is the highest-rated AI SDR?

By G2 score and review count as of October 18, 2026, Qualified’s Piper leads with 4.9 out of 5 from 1,555 reviews. It is an inbound tool for website visitors. Among outbound tools, AiSDR, Jeeva and Salesforge each show 4.6 on G2, with far fewer reviews.

What are the most common AI SDR complaints?

In the 42 firsthand complaints we read across five tools, contracts and billing came first with 12, then message quality with 5, and results and setup with 4 each. Reviewers also mention support, bugs and the time it takes to oversee the agent.

Is 11x or Artisan better?

Reviews are close. As of October 18, 2026, 11x holds 4.3 on Trustpilot and 4.4 on G2; Artisan holds 4.1 on both. Both earn praise for customer success staff and both draw complaints about results and contracts. 11x starts at $3,750 a month billed annually; Artisan publishes lower startup plans.

Do reviewers say an AI SDR can replace a human SDR?

Reviews suggest not fully. Even satisfied customers describe ongoing setup, tuning and review. AI SDRs handle volume and speed; people still decide which accounts matter and whether a message is right. Many teams use both.
