11x alternatives in 2026: AI SDRs compared on what they research
Updated By the SalesOne research team10 min read
The short answer
11x sells Alice, an AI SDR, on annual plans from $3,750 a month (October 2026). Teams look for 11x alternatives when they want monthly terms, a smaller start, or more research before anything is sent. Artisan and AiSDR run outbound at volume, Amplemarket and Unify pair signals with large databases, and SalesOne qualifies accounts with dated sources.
How do the main 11x alternatives compare?
The two questions buyers ask most about an 11x alternative are who approves each message and how long the contract runs, so the table leads with both.
| Tool | What it researches | Where data comes from | Who approves each message | Contract | Published entry price |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 11x (Alice) | Each prospect and company: news, job posts, announcements, 10-K filings and your CRM, with citations | Its 400M-contact database or your CRM leads | Your choice: review every message, a named approver, or autopilot | Annual; Pro and Enterprise also offer 2- and 3-year terms | Growth from $3,750/mo, billed annually ($36,000 a year) |
| Artisan (Ava) | Ranks leads with intent signals; agent swarm research and per-lead web research | 250M+ contacts enriched from 22+ sources, or your CRM | Optional approval mode; autonomous by default | Startup plans billed annually; larger plans scoped | Free; Intern $250/mo and Employee $600/mo, billed annually |
| Amplemarket (Duo) | Research agents gather the context behind each buying signal | Its own B2B database | Reps review, edit and send each suggestion | Annual term on Startup | Startup $600/mo for 2 users; Growth and Elite custom |
| Unify | Account fit, list qualification and signals such as hiring, funding and news | 1.1B+ people, 65M+ companies, 40+ data sources | Reps review; automated plays can run on autopilot (Business) | Monthly on Base and Pro; Business annual | Free up to 3 seats; Base $20 and Pro $60 per seat/mo |
| AiSDR | AI-researched messaging for every contact, from live signals | 2B+ profiles and a 20-provider enrichment waterfall | You approve sample messages before launch, not each message | Pay as you go, or quarterly Team contracts | $1.50 per person prospected; managed from $149 a campaign |
| Twain | Each account and contact on the web, with dates and source links | Real-time web research per lead | Your team sends the drafts through its own tools | Monthly credit plans | Starter $49/mo; Pro from $198/mo |
| Salesmotion | Briefs on named accounts from earnings calls, filings and news, plus buying signals | Public sources per account | Drafts only; the rep sends | Individual plan billed monthly | Individual $85/mo; team plans custom |
| SalesOne | Each account against your ICP: dated triggers, accept or reject with a reason, buying committee | Dated public sources; contact details from 20+ data providers, only for people you pick | A person on your team approves every message | Managed and Custom start with 90 days and agreed success criteria, then, if the client chooses to continue, a 6- or 12-month term | Not published; priced on a call |
What does 11x offer in October 2026?
11x now sells revenue agents across voice, chat, email, social and SMS, for inbound, outbound and expansion. Its homepage relaunched in October 2026 with that scope, and a post by CEO Prabhav Jain on October 14, 2026 says 11x started with an outbound agent and now also sells voice and chat agents for inbound qualification and customer expansion. The Alice and Julian names remain on its pricing and help pages.
- Alice, the outbound SDR: you set the audience and goal, and 11x picks the play and handles prospecting, research, personalization and multichannel execution. Leads come from your CRM or its database of 400M contacts.
- Research: Deep Research pulls public sources, news, job postings, company announcements, 10-K filings and context from your CRM into a report per prospect, with citations and a recommended messaging strategy.
- Channels: email, consented outbound calling, social, SMS and WhatsApp in one sequence, in 105+ languages on Pro and above, per its help center (updated Aug 27, 2026). Smart Replies classifies replies, drafts a response and escalates to a person by category.
- Approval: three modes, per the help center: review every message, an approval workflow with a named approver, or autopilot.
- Pricing (as of October 2026): Alice Growth starts at $3,750 a month, billed annually, for up to 5 users and 2,000 new prospects a month, with 11x-managed mailboxes, CRM sync and onboarding. Pro and Enterprise are custom. 11x says it charges per lead, not per send, and has no onboarding fee.
- Julian, for inbound (as of October 2026): voice from $5,333 a month for 2,000 calls and chat from $2,417 a month for 3,000 chats, both billed annually.
Why do teams look for 11x alternatives?
11x describes its research as cited and detailed. The reasons below come from its own pricing pages and from G2 reviews, and they are about terms, targeting and scope.
- Annual commitment and entry price. Every Alice and Julian plan on the pricing pages is billed annually, and 11x’s own FAQ says it starts at $36,000 a year on Growth. There is no monthly, self-serve or free plan listed.
- Data freshness and narrow targeting. On G2, read October 18, 2026, 11x’s 33 reviews are mostly positive. Recurring complaints from G2 reviewers include contact data that is sometimes out of date, difficulty filtering to a very specific audience, follow-ups that ignore a reply already received, and messages that are occasionally too wordy or off target.
- A wider product. The October 2026 relaunch puts voice, chat and expansion alongside outbound. Teams that only want outbound research and email may prefer a narrower tool.
- Replies drafted by AI. Smart Replies drafts responses and escalates to a person by category. Teams that want a person to write every reply look for tools that keep replies with people.
How did we compare these 11x alternatives?
We compared each tool on what 11x buyers ask about: what it researches before a message goes out, where its data comes from, who approves each message, the contract and the published entry price. Facts come from each vendor’s own product, pricing and help pages, read on October 18, 2026. Review themes come from G2 product pages read the same day, and ratings there change daily.
We did not run a hands-on test of every tool, and we did not use vendor case-study results, which we could not verify. Where a vendor’s page did not state something, we say so. The order below is not a score: it runs from the tools closest to 11x, which run outbound for you, to the tools that research and leave the sending to your team.
1. Artisan: is Ava the closest 11x alternative?
Best for: teams that want outbound run for them at volume, with a lower published entry price than 11x.
Artisan sells Ava, an AI BDR that finds leads, enriches them, sends personalized messages across email and social, and books meetings for your reps. Ava searches 250M+ verified B2B contacts or your CRM, enriches prospects from 22+ data sources and ranks them with intent signals such as funding rounds and leadership hires. An approval mode lets Ava draft and wait for your click, but Artisan’s pricing FAQ calls Ava autonomous by default. Pricing (as of October 2026): a Free plan with 300 credits a month and no campaigns; Intern $250 a month and Employee $600 a month, billed annually, for about 500 and 1,250 leads contacted a month. Team, Scale and Enterprise are priced on request. For the full picture, see Artisan alternatives.
2. Amplemarket: what if reps should decide what is sent?
Best for: teams that want a signals copilot where reps keep the final say on every message.
Amplemarket’s Duo gives each rep a personal AI assistant. Its agents scan the market daily for buying signals, and research agents gather the context behind each one from Amplemarket’s own B2B database. Duo describes itself as human in the loop by design: reps review, edit, regenerate or send each suggestion with one click. Sequences run across email, social and phone, with Duo Voice on Growth and above. Pricing (as of October 2026): Startup $600 a month on an annual term, with 2 users and 27,000 contacts; Growth and Elite are custom; every plan lists a free trial.
3. Unify: is there a per-seat, monthly alternative?
Best for: rep-led outbound teams that want a self-serve tool billed by the seat, month to month.
Unify sells outbound agents for every rep. The agents research fit and qualify lists from 1.1B+ people, 65M+ companies and 40+ data sources, with signals such as hiring, funding, news and tech stack, then run email, calls and social steps in one sequence. In Unify’s pitch, the agents write and reps spend their time reviewing; automated plays on the Business plan can run on autopilot. Pricing (as of October 2026): Free for up to 3 seats with limited credits; Base $20 and Pro $60 per seat a month, billed monthly, with 800 and 2,400 credits; Business is custom and annual.
4. AiSDR: can you start with pay as you go?
Best for: small teams that want to start without a contract, or want the work fully managed.
AiSDR’s agent writes AI-researched messages for every contact, from 2B+ profiles, live signals and a 20-provider enrichment waterfall, across email, social and call steps. You approve sample messages before a campaign launches; its help center says no manual approval is needed for each outgoing message. Pricing (as of October 2026): pay as you go at $1.50 per person prospected, charged daily, with campaigns from $7.50; Team plans priced on volume, on quarterly contracts; managed service at $149 a campaign, where you review and approve before anything sends, or $2,500 a month fully managed.
5. Twain: what if you want cited research and your own sending?
Best for: teams that want deep, cited research per lead at a published price, and send through their own tools.
Twain researches each account and contact on the web in real time, with dates and source links, then writes one-to-one sequences for email, social and calls. Depth sets the cost: Base runs 1 search per lead, High up to 5 and Ultra up to 10, and a qualification agent flags issues before you send. Twain does not send below its Enterprise plan; your team sends the drafts. Pricing (as of October 2026): Starter $49 a month for 500 credits or $99 for 1,000; Pro from $198 a month for 2,000 credits up to $1,260 for 14,000; 500 free credits for 30 days.
6. Salesmotion: what if your reps work named accounts?
Best for: account executives working a named list who want research and drafts, and send the messages themselves.
Salesmotion combines account research, buying signals, verified contacts and AI outreach. Its Deep Research Agent writes briefs from earnings calls, filings and news, and a Signal Agent watches the accounts you track. Drafts for email and social go to the rep, who sends them; Salesmotion does not describe sending. Pricing (as of October 2026): Individual $85 a month, billed monthly, for 100 monitored accounts; team plans are custom.
7. SalesOne: what does it research before outreach?
Best for: teams that want every account researched and qualified before anyone is contacted, and a person approving every message.
SalesOne is an account-first sales system. Its S1 deep research agents start from your company and a structured ideal customer profile. For each account S1 delivers, its agents run about 30 searches, open the pages that matter and turn down about three other companies. Every company S1 turns down keeps the rule it failed and the evidence, and every buying trigger comes with its source and the date it happened. In our runs, the newest trigger on a typical account was about two months old.
- What it researches: the account first, then its buying committee: about four people per account, each backed by a dated public source, mostly filings, company pages and press releases rather than a profile alone.
- How it differs from 11x: 11x researches each prospect with citations and offers an autopilot mode. SalesOne researches the account and its committee, and has no autopilot.
- Approval: a person on your team approves every message. SalesOne does not answer prospects with AI; a reply pauses the account and a person answers it. See how outreach works.
- Help with calls: an optional SalesOne SDR seat takes calls and follow-ups inside your workspace, and the SDR’s sequence emails wait for approval.
- Pace: a 50-account list typically takes about an hour of agent time, with research agents working in parallel.
- Pricing: not published; each plan is priced on a call. Managed and Custom start with 90 days against agreed success criteria. See pricing.
What can replace 11x Julian for inbound?
If you use 11x for inbound, look at inbound tools rather than outbound AI SDRs. Julian qualifies inbound leads by voice, chat, WhatsApp and SMS. Qualified sells Piper, an AI SDR agent for inbound pipeline, working through website conversations and email, with text, voice and video. Qualified does not publish prices; its Premier, Enterprise and Ultimate plans say to contact sales, and its pricing page does not describe how people approve what Piper says.
SalesOne is not an inbound tool. It has no voice or chat agents for website visitors, so pair it with an inbound tool if you need both.
What if you want people on the work as well as software?
Three setups put people back into outbound without hiring a full SDR team. AiSDR publishes managed options: $149 a campaign, where you review and approve before anything sends, or $2,500 a month fully managed. An outsourced SDR agency is the all-human route; see what an outsourced SDR costs and in-house vs outsourced vs AI SDR. With SalesOne, an optional SalesOne SDR seat handles calls and follow-ups on the accounts S1 agents research, and the SDR’s sequence emails wait for approval.
For the trade-offs between software and people, see AI SDR vs human SDR.
Where is SalesOne not a fit?
SalesOne is built for teams that care more about which accounts to work, and why, than about how many messages go out. It is the wrong choice if any of these matter more to you:
- You want fully autonomous sending, or an autopilot mode for later. 11x and Artisan offer one; SalesOne does not.
- You want AI to answer replies. SalesOne pauses the account and a person answers.
- You want inbound voice or chat agents. 11x Julian and Qualified Piper do this; SalesOne does not.
- You want a large contact database to search and export. Artisan (250M+), Unify (1.1B+ people) and Amplemarket are built around one.
- You want to sign up today at a published monthly price. Unify, Twain, Artisan and AiSDR publish one; SalesOne prices each plan on a call, and its self-serve Platform plan is in early access and starts with an onboarding call.
- You run high-volume sequences in many languages. 11x lists 105+ on Pro and above.
- You need native two-way CRM sync. SalesOne logs each sent email to your CRM by BCC.
- You prospect mainly outside the US. SalesOne is built for US B2B sales teams and US outreach rules.
When should you stay with 11x?
Stay with 11x if its scope and terms suit how you sell. It is a strong fit when:
- You want outbound and inbound voice or chat agents from one vendor.
- You want to start with review on every message and move to autopilot once you trust the output.
- You sell in many languages: 11x lists 105+ on Pro and above.
- You want a built-in contact database, managed mailboxes and CRM sync on one annual contract.
- Alice is already tuned to your market and its cited research meets your bar.
Who owns the mailboxes and domains if you leave?
11x lists managed mailboxes in its Growth plan (as of October 2026), so the sending accounts may be set up and run by 11x rather than by your team. Before you sign, or before you switch, get the answers below in writing. The same questions apply to any vendor on this page that sets up mailboxes for you, SalesOne included.
- Who registered the sending domains, and can they be transferred to you at the end of the contract?
- Are the mailboxes on your own domain or on lookalike domains bought for outreach?
- Do the mailboxes, their warm-up history and their sent mail stay with you, or are they closed when the contract ends?
- Can you export sequences, replies and opt-outs, so nobody who asked to stop hears from you again from a new tool?
- Which DNS records (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) did the vendor add, and who removes them?
A new tool usually means new mailboxes that need warming before they send at full volume. For how domains, warm-up and authentication affect delivery, see cold email.
How do you choose an 11x alternative?
- Decide who approves each message, then rule out tools that cannot do it. The options run from every message, to samples only, to autopilot.
- Decide the commitment you can carry: annual, quarterly, monthly or pay as you go.
- Decide whether you need the account researched or only the contact. Ask each vendor for three real accounts from your market, researched, with sources and dates.
- Price your real volume. Prospects, credits, leads contacted, seats and qualified accounts are different units; convert each quote to a cost per qualified account. See AI SDR pricing.
- Test on accounts you already know well, and judge research quality before reply rates.
