AI SDR pricing: how vendors charge and what you will pay

Updated By the SalesOne research team8 min read

The short answer

AI SDR pricing runs from free plans to enterprise contracts quoted on request. Vendors charge per seat, per contact or credit, per meeting, or per qualified account. Published plans, as of October 2026, range from $20 per seat a month to $3,750 a month billed annually. Compare quotes by cost per qualified account, including your team’s review time.

How much does an AI SDR cost?

Published AI SDR and AI prospecting prices fall into three bands as of October 2026. Self-serve tools for individual reps start free and run to about $150 per seat a month. Small-team AI SDRs that research contacts for you cost roughly $250 to $2,500 a month. Enterprise AI SDRs start in the thousands per month on annual contracts, and several do not publish prices at all.

The sticker price hides most of the difference. A $60 seat that needs a person to build every list is a different product from a $3,750 plan that researches 2,000 new prospects a month. Before comparing numbers, compare units: what exactly does one seat, credit, contact or account buy?

  • Key takeaway: convert every quote into a cost per qualified account, the unit that maps to pipeline.
  • Key takeaway: add the costs that are not on the price page, such as mailboxes, extra data, setup and review time.
  • Key takeaway: check the commitment. Monthly, quarterly and annual terms carry different risk.

What pricing models do AI SDR vendors use?

Vendors use five pricing units, and each one shifts a different risk onto the buyer.

Per-seat pricing suits teams where reps do the work and the tool assists. Per-contact and per-credit pricing suits teams that want volume researched for them, as long as someone forecasts usage. Per-meeting pricing looks safe but moves the argument to what counts as a meeting. Per-account pricing ties cost to the unit sales teams already plan around. Many vendors mix models, such as a plan sized in contacts plus credits for extras, so read the unit before the price.

What do published AI SDR prices look like?

The prices below come from each vendor’s own pricing page, checked on October 6, 2026. They change often, so confirm them before you buy.

Two patterns stand out. Self-serve plans are cheap to start but meter usage through credits that reset each period. Plans that research prospects for you are priced on volume and usually need a quarterly or annual commitment. Vendors that do not publish prices tend to size plans to volume and support after a call, which makes an early written quote with the unit and term even more important.

What costs are not on the price page?

  • Sending infrastructure. Some plans include domains and mailboxes (11x lists managed mailboxes; AiSDR sizes domains and mailboxes by plan). Elsewhere they are extra.
  • Data beyond the plan. Extra credits for emails, phone numbers or research steps once the allowance runs out.
  • Managed help. AiSDR lists a per-campaign managed service for an extra $149 a campaign on its Explore plan and a fully managed service for an extra $2,500 a month on its Scale plan, as of October 2026. Other vendors reserve a dedicated success manager for higher tiers.
  • Review time. Someone has to read and approve messages. Even a few hours a week is a real cost, though it never appears on an invoice.
  • Setup. Writing the ideal customer profile, exclusions, offer and outreach rules takes days, whichever tool you choose.
  • Commitment risk. A quarterly or annual contract on a tool that does not fit costs the whole term.

How do you calculate cost per qualified account?

Cost per qualified account is the total monthly cost of a tool and the people who run it, divided by the number of accounts that pass your rules that month. It is the fairest way to compare a per-seat tool, a per-contact tool and a per-account service, because it measures what sales teams plan around.

Worked example (illustrative figures only)
LineIllustrative figureNote
Tool subscription$1,500 a monthA plan that researches 1,000 contacts a month
Review and approval time$750 a month15 hours at $50 an hour of staff cost
Extra data and mailboxes$250 a monthCredits and sending infrastructure beyond the plan
Total monthly cost$2,500
Accounts researchedAbout 3301,000 contacts at about 3 contacts per account
Accounts that pass your rules100About 30% of accounts researched, after review
Cost per qualified account$25$2,500 ÷ 100

Run the same sum for each option. A cheaper plan that qualifies 40 accounts a month costs more per account than a pricier one that qualifies 120. Then compare the result with your current cost: a human SDR’s pay and benefits, roughly $114,000 a year on Bridge Group and BLS figures, divided by the accounts that SDR actually qualifies in a year.

How is SalesOne priced?

SalesOne does not publish prices. It is priced on qualified accounts per month: accounts that S1 deep research agents have researched from dated, sourced signals and accepted against your ideal customer profile, each with its buying committee mapped and a fit, timing and reach score. Rejected accounts come with a recorded reason, so you can see what the research ruled out.

Because the unit is the qualified account, a SalesOne quote drops straight into the cost-per-account sum above; add your own review time, as with any tool. A person on your team approves every message before it is sent. S1 agents do the homework. Your team builds the relationship. Talk to us for a quote based on how many qualified accounts you want each month.

Is an AI SDR cheaper than hiring an SDR?

On the subscription alone, usually yes. Median SDR on-target earnings were $80,000 in the Bridge Group’s 2025 report, before benefits, tools and management, while the highest published AI SDR plan we found costs $3,750 a month, billed annually, as of October 2026.

The comparison that matters is cost per qualified account and per meeting held, with the cost of the person who approves messages counted on the AI side. A cheap AI SDR that sends weak messages costs more than its invoice: it uses up good accounts and can damage sending domains. A hybrid, where software researches and drafts and a person approves and runs the conversations, keeps both cost and quality in view. For the full comparison, see AI SDR vs human SDR.

How do you compare AI SDR quotes?

Put every quote on one sheet with the same questions answered. A quote that cannot answer them is not yet comparable, however attractive the headline price looks.

  1. Ask each vendor to define its unit: seat, contact, credit, meeting or account.
  2. Ask what one unit includes: research, contact details, sending, replies.
  3. Ask what happens to unused volume at the end of the period.
  4. Ask for the term and the exit: monthly, quarterly or annual, and the notice period.
  5. Ask which costs sit outside the plan: mailboxes, extra data, onboarding, managed service.
  6. Estimate your own review time, in hours a month, and add it to every quote.
  7. Convert everything to cost per qualified account, then test on accounts you know before you sign a long term.

Frequently asked questions

How much does an AI SDR cost per month?

As of October 2026, published plans range from free self-serve tiers and $20 per seat to $3,750 a month billed annually for an enterprise AI SDR. Small-team plans that research contacts for you cost about $250 to $2,500 a month.

What is the cheapest AI SDR?

Among prices checked in October 2026, Unify, Regie.ai, Apollo and Clay offer free plans, and AiSDR’s Solo plan is $250 a month. Cheapest per month is not cheapest per qualified account, so compare on that.

Is it cheaper to use an AI SDR or hire a human SDR?

The subscription is usually cheaper than an SDR’s $80,000 median on-target earnings (Bridge Group, 2025). Count review time on the AI side, and benefits, tools and ramp on the human side, before deciding.

Why do some AI SDR vendors not publish prices?

Their plans are sized to volume, channels and support, so they quote after a call. Artisan and SalesOne are examples as of October 2026. Ask for the unit and the term in writing.

Do AI SDRs charge per meeting?

Few software vendors publish per-meeting prices; the model is more common among outsourced appointment-setting firms. If you buy per meeting, agree in writing whether a meeting means booked, held or qualified.

How is SalesOne priced?
