Lusha alternatives in 2026: free plans, accuracy and what reviewers say

Updated By the SalesOne research team9 min read

The short answer

The best Lusha alternatives for most small teams are Apollo, Hunter.io, Snov.io, Kaspr and UpLead, and all but UpLead have a free plan. Lusha itself publishes its prices and gives 40 free credits a month. Larger teams compare ZoomInfo or Cognism. If the gap is knowing which US accounts to work, look at a research-first tool such as SalesOne.

Which Lusha alternatives are free?

Apollo, Hunter.io, Snov.io and Kaspr have free plans that renew every month, as Lusha’s does; UpLead offers only a 7-day trial. A free plan is enough to test fill rate on 30 to 50 of your own contacts before you pay; it is rarely enough to run outbound.

What do Lusha reviews say?

As of October 2026, Lusha holds 1.2 out of 5 from 782 reviews on Trustpilot (checked October 18, 2026), and Trustpilot notes Lusha has no recent history of asking for reviews. The overall score also counts reviews from people who are not customers, so we read only reviews from customers and users: 21 complaint reviews from October 2022 to October 2026. These are themes reviewers raise, not findings about the product.

  • Credits (5 reviews, Trustpilot, November 2022 to August 2026). Reviewers describe credits reduced on cancellation, credits that expired at the end of an annual cycle, and extra credits needed to download a list. One wrote, “They take your unused credits that you paid for” (June 2026).
  • Renewals and refunds (4 reviews, January 2024 to August 2026): automatic renewals, including one on a former employer’s account, and refunds that reviewers could not get.
  • Support (3 reviews, April to October 2026): plan changes and account requests that took days or weeks through several people.
  • Price changes (3 reviews, November 2022 to March 2026): a high entry price for a single user, and a plan price that rose sharply when credits were added for one month.
  • Wrong numbers and bounces (3 reviews, October 2022, February 2026 and May 2026). One US customer wrote, “I downloaded 25 contacts and the first 10 calls i did had incorrect numbers.”

For balance, reviewers praise the browser extension as quick and intuitive, and some praise the service team. Lusha also states plainly on its pricing page how credits work: monthly plans roll unused credits over up to twice the plan limit, and annual plans reset unused credits at the end of the year.

How accurate is Lusha’s data?

Lusha publishes its own figures, with a method page: 98% email accuracy overall (North America 98%, EMEA 97%, APAC 96%, LATAM 95%) and 85% phone accuracy in the US, 86% globally. These are the vendor’s claims; we found no independent test. Three Trustpilot customers report wrong numbers and bounces, as listed above: too few reviews to prove a pattern either way.

Lusha’s own advice is the right test for any provider: run 200 to 300 of your real target contacts through each tool and count fill rate, accuracy and how many people have changed jobs. Count numbers that connect and emails that do not bounce, not records returned. The same test answers the question for every alternative on this page.

How did we compare them?

We read each vendor’s own pricing and product pages on October 19, 2026, clicked the annual and monthly toggles where there were any, and recorded plans, credits, phone data and free options. Review themes come only from firsthand Trustpilot reviews by customers and users. We did not run a hands-on accuracy test of any vendor, and we have not tested Lusha head to head against SalesOne.

1. Apollo: more credits and sending on the free plan

Apollo pairs a contact database with sequences, a dialer and AI research. Pricing (published as of October 2026): Free with 75 credits per seat a month; Basic $49 per seat a month billed annually ($65 monthly) with 30,000 credits a year; Professional $79 ($99 monthly); Organization $119, minimum 3 seats. Phone numbers cost more than at Lusha: 8 credits each against 5. Best for teams that want lookups and outreach in one place. Our Apollo alternatives guide covers the trade-offs.

2. Kaspr: the closest extension-first tool, owned by Cognism

Kaspr works like Lusha’s extension: you open a profile and reveal an email or number. Pricing (published as of October 2026, USD): Free with 15 B2B email, 5 phone and 5 direct email credits a month; Starter $49 a user a month billed annually ($65 monthly) with unlimited B2B email credits and 1,200 phone credits a year; Business $79 ($99 monthly) with 2,400; Enterprise is custom. Subscriptions renew automatically. Cognism has owned Kaspr since 2022, so choose it as an alternative to Lusha, not to Cognism.

3. Hunter.io and Snov.io: free email finders

If you send email and rarely call, these cost less than Lusha. Hunter.io (published as of October 2026): Free with 50 credits a month; Starter $34 a month billed yearly ($49 monthly) with 24,000 credits a year; Growth $104; unlimited team members and cold email sequences on every plan. Snov.io: a free Trial plan with 50 credits renewed every 30 days; Starter $39 a month with 1,000 credits; Pro from $99; 25% off on annual billing. Hunter.io’s plans list no phone numbers.

4. UpLead: one credit for email and mobile

UpLead charges one credit per contact, with the verified email and mobile number included, where Lusha charges 1 credit for an email and 5 for a phone. Pricing (published as of October 2026): Essentials $99 a month for 170 credits, or $74 a month billed annually for 2,040 a year; Plus $199 a month for 400; Professional is annual only, by demo, with buyer intent. A 7-day trial gives 5 credits. It has no built-in sending. Best for callers who want a flat cost per contact.

5. ZoomInfo and Cognism: when the team outgrows Lusha

Teams that want intent and company data next to contacts, under one contract, look at an enterprise database. ZoomInfo sells Professional, Copilot Advanced and Copilot Enterprise by quote, with intent, website visitors and outreach workflows on the higher plans, and a free trial on each. Cognism sells Standard and Pro by quote, each with 5 seats included; one credit reveals one contact, and Pro adds verified mobile data and intent. Our ZoomInfo alternatives and Cognism alternatives guides compare them in detail.

Another route is waterfall enrichment, which asks several providers in turn for each contact. Apollo lists it on paid plans and Lusha lists it as a use case.

6. SalesOne: current people at accounts that qualify

SalesOne is an account-first sales system for US businesses, and it does not sell lookups. S1 deep research agents first decide which companies fit your ideal customer profile, then find who decides at each one. For each account S1 delivers, its agents run about 30 searches, open the pages that matter, and turn down about three other companies. The reasons are kept; our study of why accounts get rejected covers 802 of them.

  • S1 finds the buying committee, about four people per account, each backed by a dated public source, mostly filings, company pages and press releases rather than a profile alone.
  • People who have left are caught and held back from outreach. A person with no recent public source is flagged for review, not sent.
  • Contact details come from 20+ data providers, and only for the people your team picks. No seats, credits or per-lookup charges.
  • A person approves every message, and every approval is recorded with who gave it.

Where is SalesOne not a fit?

  • You want quick one-off lookups from a browser extension. Lusha, Kaspr or Hunter.io do that for less.
  • You want a free plan. SalesOne has none and prices each plan on a call.
  • You prospect outside the US. SalesOne researches US businesses only.
  • You need a database to search and export in bulk, or buying-intent topics. SalesOne has neither.
  • You need native two-way CRM sync. SalesOne logs every sent email to your CRM by BCC.

Who is Lusha a good fit for?

Lusha is a reasonable choice for small teams that want low-cost lookups without a sales call. Stay with it if:

  • You pay monthly and use your credits; monthly plans roll unused credits over up to twice the limit.
  • Your team works from the browser extension, the part reviewers praise most.
  • You need a phone number now and then, and 5 credits a number suits your volume.
  • You have run the 200-contact test on your own market and the numbers connect.

How do you choose a Lusha alternative?

  1. Decide whether you mostly email or mostly call. Email-first tools are cheaper; phone data costs more everywhere.
  2. Start on two free plans at once and run the same 30 to 50 contacts through both.
  3. Check how credits behave: whether they roll over, expire at the end of a year, or shrink when you cancel.
  4. Price the plan you would really need in month three, not the entry plan.
  5. Ask whether contact data is the gap at all. If your team cannot say which accounts to work and why, more lookups will not fix it; see our Seamless.AI alternatives page for the same question from another angle.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a free alternative to Lusha?

Yes. As of October 2026, Apollo gives 75 credits per seat a month for free, Hunter.io 50 credits a month, Snov.io a trial plan with 50 credits renewed every 30 days, and Kaspr 15 email and 5 phone credits a month. Lusha itself also has a free plan with 40 credits a month.

How much does Lusha cost?

As of October 2026, Lusha Starter is $37.45 a month billed yearly or $49.90 billed monthly, Pro is $52.45 a month billed yearly with 2 seats, Premium is $299.95 a month billed yearly with 5 seats, and Scale is custom. An email costs 1 credit and a phone number 5.

How accurate is Lusha?

Lusha states 98% email accuracy overall and 85% phone accuracy in the US, with its method published on its own site. We found no independent test. The most reliable answer is your own: run 200 to 300 of your real target contacts through Lusha and one alternative, then count bounces and connected calls.

Do Lusha credits roll over?

On monthly plans, yes, up to twice the plan’s monthly limit while you stay subscribed, according to Lusha’s pricing FAQ. On annual plans, all credits are granted upfront and any unused credits reset at the end of the annual cycle.

Is SalesOne a Lusha alternative?

Only for part of the job, and only in the US. SalesOne researches and qualifies US accounts, maps the buying committee and finds contact details just for the people you pick. It has no browser extension, no free plan and no database to search, so teams that want quick lookups should choose a contact tool.
